Speaking to Marie Claire, she said, “My go-to breakfast is an Ezekiel English muffin with sliced avocado, lemon, salt and pepper. If I was eating whatever I wanted with no guilt, I’d do chocolate chip pancakes and bacon and two eggs over medium, with a side of hash browns.”

Okay, so choc chip pancakes might sound like a heart attack on a plate, but believe it or not, Hailey’s go-to recipe is surprisingly healthy! In her What’s In My Kitchen YouTube series, she reveals her secret: all organic ingredients, a protein powder boost, no added sugar, and a topping of banana and coconut cream for an almost guilt-free indulgence. Yum!

Oh, and there’s one more thing… 

Coffee (obviously!)

When she’s not reaching for her infamous grab and go chocolate coffee protein shake, Hailey loves to get her caffeine boost from an almond milk cappuccino. De-lish!

Lunch

When lunchtime rolls around, Hailey keeps things light and healthy. “Lunch is usually salad, fish, grilled veggies, or maybe a sandwich,” she told ELLE. “I don’t really eat a lot of gluten so I’m trying to be particular. I love a good kale Caesar salad [but with] no croutons.”

Since then, Hailey’s been spotted whipping up all sorts of healthy lunches, like her super easy pesto kelp noodle dish with garlic and parm. Full of antioxidants and essential vitamins, it’s both insanely nourishing and totally tasty!

Dinner

Being a creature of habit, Hailey usually sticks with vegetables or gluten-free carbs for dinner. In an interview with ELLE, she shared, “Dinner is usually kind of along the same lines [as lunch] — some sort of vegetable, or pasta, like a gluten free pasta. Chicken, maybe.”

Hailey has also shared her love for pizza with fans on social media. Not only does she host a pizza night once a month, but she’s also the queen of DIY pizza toast, which she makes from tomatoes, sourdough bread, and a generous blend of parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

The munchies, apparently. Hailey has confessed that she was inspired to make the recipe after getting high in her California home. With the hunger pangs kicking in, Hailey decided to improvise, throwing together a few ingredients to make a tasty snack that was basically a low-key version of her fave indulgence.

Teaming up with organic retailer Erewhon in 2022, Hailey helped to create the viral Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie that has taken TikTok by storm. The $19 drink boasts a blend of sea moss, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and more — a recipe that promises not just a tasty treat but a glowing complexion too. 

At home, she might snack on pickles, and during pregnancy, she pairs them with egg salad and hot sauce, which is her ultimate craving.

Cheat Meals

When she’s not filling up on veggies and gluten-free grains, Hailey will occasionally treat herself to take out and has made no secret of the fact that she’s a sucker for a burger joint. In fact, there’s one particular joint that she just can’t get enough of: Shake Shack.

Taking to Instagram back in 2019, she shared, “I’ve already Postmated Shake Shack once tonight … It’s now 10:38 p.m. Is it a pure CRIME to order it again … ? Or do I need to just chill?”

The model has talked about her love for Shake Shack on more than a few occasions, and in one interview with Vogue, she even said that she’s dying to know what goes into their secret sauce! Maybe she’ll try her hand at recreating it in the kitchen next… 

As well as having a Shake Shack obsession, Hailey also has a soft spot for the laid-back NYC burger joint J.G. Melon. A favorite of supermodel Gigi Hadid, Hailey once said, “I love J.G. Melon. Her choice to limit her alcohol intake may be because she’s seen the effects of addiction up close, with both her dad and husband having struggled with drinking. Speaking on the Victoria’s Secret Voices podcast in 2021, she shared: “I was never somebody who struggled with any substances, but that’s because I was so aware of it because of my dad…” 

Helping Justin to get through his battle with addiction, she admitted she had to go to some “dark spaces” but says he has been “very open” about his drinking, and that that’s all she can really ask for.

Surprising fans on Valentine’s Day this year, Hailey actually showed up alongside Justin to prepare and serve her sundaes at an Erewhon store in Beverly Hills. Needless to say, it was a sweet surprise for fans, who eagerly lined up for a taste.

Hailey also treats herself and Justin to her homemade cinnamon rolls and occasionally makes cookies, too. Her secret hack? “One thing I like to do with cookies — don’t critique me you people who are bakers — is I like to put butter on the tops so that the butter bakes into it,” she revealed.

When she’s not indulging in her own desserts, Hailey has confessed that she loves to reach for a Magnum bar, branding it “obviously” a great choice. 

Oh, and she’s partial to a (you guessed it) strawberry glazed Krispy Kreme donut! As a lover of all things sweet and strawberry, Hailey’s favorite donut inspired her to bring out a limited-edition strawberry glazed lip peptide treatment for her skincare brand Rhode. This girl is a GENIUS!

Lifestyle Choices

Of course, Hailey’s balanced diet isn’t the only thing keeping her in such great shape. She’s super into fitness and loves mixing up her routine to keep things interesting. Pilates and yoga are key staples for her, helping her achieve that long, lean, toned look she’s known for, while also providing some much-needed zen. 

But she doesn’t stop there! Hailey also enjoys getting her heart pumping. “I really like boxing for cardio. And I’ll do a couple of sessions a week in the gym, weight training and cardio,” she told Women’s Health. 

Despite sticking to a regimented fitness routine, staying active hasn’t always been a breeze for Hailey. After experiencing a mini-stroke in 2022, she had to put in major work to regain her strength and stamina. But with that signature Hailey determination and a focus on listening to her body, she’s slowly but surely getting back into her fitness groove.
