Nothing says “Merry Christmas” quite like a Kardashian Christmas card!
Whether it was the insane theatric production of 2013 or the ever-so-serious shot from 2011, the annual Kardashian family Christmas card has always held the wow factor.
They’ve gone from cramming all family members in one portrait, to featuring a standalone image of the star-studded kids. Either way, every year, we stay up on Christmas Eve, eagerly waiting for the Insta-release of the Kardashian ‘Kristmas’ snapshot.

The Kardashian Family Tree Explained
Now it’s time to throw it back a little and have a look at all the Kardashian Christmas cards through the years.
They’ve been beautiful, extravagant and legit cringe. But admit it, it wouldn’t feel like Christmas without them…
2022
There was no official family Christmas card in 2022, but there was a special little something from Kris Jenner…
While most of the family decided to keep things quiet, ‘momager’ of the family, Kris, decided to celebrate the ‘Kris’ in ‘Kristmas’ by sharing this card from herself and boyfriend, Corey Gamble. It may not scream ‘Kardashian Christmas,’ but it’s still *something*…
2021
In 2021, it had been three years since the Kardashian family shared a Christmas Card. And although it was missing the majority of the gang, Kris, Kim, Khloe and their children (and Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream) stayed true to their tradition.
Kim shared a series of photos of the crew wearing matching brown outfits, from Skims (obviously), and it couldn’t have been sweeter.
2019
Following decades of festive photographs from the entire family, there was no proper Kardashian holiday card in 2019.
Instead, the world was gifted with a West Christmas card starring Kim Kardashian, her (then) hubby Kanye West and their beautiful kids, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. No flashy outfits or hairstyles in sight, this time around, the famous family shot their card in loungewear.
2018
Although Kris and Kendall (and Rob) were missing from this family get-together, we have to admit, it’s the best out of the bunch.
We don’t know if it’s the all-white effect or the kiddie chaos (or should we say khaos), there’s just something really cute about this family Christmas photo. If only we could get something similar this year!
2017
While the Christmas spirit is certainly lacking in this photo with all the denim and all, it’s still a nice shot of the Kardashian-Jenner brood. The family really geared us up for this photo, as they revealed a new ‘piece’ of the card every day throughout December (we guess it was a ‘Kardashian Advent Calendar’?).
This was also the year everyone speculated about Kylie Jenner‘s pregnancy, hoping she would make her grand preggers appearance at Christmas. But no…
2015
In 2015, the card was far from cringe-worthy, as the family decided to tone it down a little. Compared to older Christmas cards (see below), there was no pouting, no dramatic posing or over-the-top hairstyles.
It was in fact, all about the Kardashian kids, which saw North West, Penelope, Mason and Reign Disick wishing the world a very Merry Christmas!
2013
‘Tis the season to be futuristic? Artistic? Confused? The famous stars went all out for their 2013 card. Shot by David LaChapelle and presenting a neon carnival vibe, this Christmas card certainly dropped jaws and stirred up some confusion among fans…
Why is Caitlyn (formally Bruce) Jenner in a glass tube? Where is Rob, Kanye, Lamar and Scott? It may have a funky feel, but it’s giving 0% Christmas. Definitely our least favorite card from the collection.
2012
The Kardashian-Jenners truly put the white in white Christmas back in 2012. Everyone looked jolly and cheerful (except Scott) and rightly so – this was long before Khloe and Lamar’s split, Kris and Caitlyn’s (formally Bruce) divorce, and Kourtney and Scott’s breakup.
Penelope was just a baby and Kim was far from having her family of five. Fun fact? Khloe, Lamar and Kendall were digitally added to this festive card.

2011
Why so serious, Kardashians? In 2011, the first family of America reality TV dressed up in tuxedos and matching bow ties (plus moody faces) to pose for their annual Xmas card.
Rob was on Dancing With the Stars, Mason was a wee little thing, and Kim was fresh out of a 72-day marriage with Kris Humphries. The family hardly looked like they were walking in a winter wonderland, but this picture was still glam to say the least.

2010
The Kardashian Jenner Christmas card from 2010 is straight up bold and beautiful. The family stand on their staircase, dressed in dark attire (except the luminous Kim), and give us their best serious poses – even Mason has his stance down to a T.
Long before Kendall became America’s next top model and a years prior to Kylie’s transformation, this depiction of the glamorous gang feels ancient, but still gorgeous.
2009
For their 2009 Christmas card, the family decided to use a photo from Khloe and Lamar’s wedding, because why the heck not?
Every member of the Kar-Jenner gang there? Check? Expensive outfits? Check. Ryan Seacrest? Why, but, still, check. The 2009 card was deliciously purple, but outright strange.
2008
Now that’s what you call Christmas! Red gowns and black suits – possibly the only card that actually screams ‘Jingle Bells’ to some extent. What a memorable snapshot, considering it’s the first Christmas card after the Kardashians got famous – a.k.a. one year after their popular show, KUWTK aired.
But can anyone tell us why Kylie is climbing a ladder? Who cares, ten years later she became the world’s youngest billionaire, right?

1995
Baby Kendall makes a show! This was the first Kardashian-Jenner Christmas card featuring one of the Jenner sisters, with Kylie, of course, being non-existent at the time.
It’s a plain and simple one, long before the Kardashians stepped into the limelight. Santa is front and center, and Kim look as stylish as ever.
1991
Caitlyn (formally Bruce) Jenner brought together his children and step-children in this 90’s Xmas card. Although Kendall and Kylie were unthought of at this stage, at least Santa managed to make a special appearance!
The matching ties, Kris, with her tight grip around Mr. Claus, and the kiddos giving their best fake shocked faces – hilarious.
1990
Kris and the late Robert Kardashian had divorced by this time, and so the tradition of sending a family Christmas card was torn apart.
Robert kept the tradition alive by taking this sweet snapshot with his kids, proving what a strong family bond they all had. Just look at little Rob and Khloe gripping onto their daddy’s hand. Endearing, indeed.
Late 80s
We’re not sure when this photo was taken, but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle tells us it was some time in the late 80s.
Featuring Caitlyn’s (formally Bruce) four children, as well as Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and a baby Rob, this joyous Christmas card is all fun and games, until you notice the freaky turtle dressed as Santa.

Late 80s
“This picture is of the original Kardashians, back when my parents were married, and our lives were perfect!” wrote Kim Kardashian as she publicized this heartfelt pic.
Indeed, this Christmas card was sent out to loved ones when Robert and Kris were together. Let’s take a sec to appreciate everyone’s iconic 80s hair styles…and Khloe’s mischievous grin. We always knew that girl had sass.
1987
It looks like the Kardashian Christmas card began well back in the 1980s when Khloe was a toddler and Rob wasn’t even thought of.
Taken in 1987, this beautiful Christmas photo is probably one of the most genuine of them all, depicting the original Kardashian trio as their innocent selves. Long before fame and fortune and back when Christmas actually meant all things red, cuddles and joy.
We look forward to seeing more Kardashian Christmas cards in the years to come. What card was your favorite? Tell us in the comments below…
