Ellie Goulding receives UK number 1 with ‘Burn’


Grasping the number one spot this week in the UK singles chart is Ellie Goulding with her new hit single Burn. 

Avicii with Wake Me Up stays at number two while Miley Cyrus with We Can’t Stop drops down to number three. Lana Del Rey featuring Cedric Gervais remains as a non-mover at number four this week and Lady Gaga enters the chart with her talked-about track, Applause at number five.

Trampoline by Tinie Tempah drops to number six in the charts and Robin Thicke with Blurred Lines descends to number seven.

Arctic Monkeys enter the UK singles chart with their new song Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High? at number eight while Jay-Z’s Holy Grail moves down to number nine. Finally, The Wanted enter the charts with their debut single We Own The Night at number ten.
